Living most of my life on the Big Island of Hawai'i, I was immersed in a beautiful multi-cultural Island life-style and the splendor of lush tropical rain forests. My work has been inspired by the beauty of the 'aina (land) and the music of Hawai'i.
My passion is mixed-media water color pencils and paint. I incorporate a wide variety of embellishments including natural fibers, beads, bangles, quills, feathers and poetry.
Inspired by powerful women of diversity who have shared their unique style, clothing, poetry and views on social justice. I love color, design, and dimension and the poetry and 'mana'o (wisdom) of Masters like Rumi, Angelou & Martin Luther King
